Today I read the Sunday (Feb 16) issue of the NY times. In the fashion section there was an article about fur being back in style. This younger generation of the wealthy are purchasing fur coats. Due to shortages in the big stores in NYC they buy older items out of storage. They want fresh items and seem to be ignoring PETA.
A good sign? Maybe.

Well, the NY times is a pretty leftist newspaper so one can hope. I think lots of folks are casting aside some social warrior nonsense because there is less blowback. We'll see.

Over the last few years I've seen more and more people wearing fur here in Montana.

When it's below 0 and even more when we go to Billings

The culture is changing and people are rejecting anything that has to do with Wokism and extremism. I think fur will be coming back. I'm also seeing more younger people going back to the more traditional roles and let's encourage those young men to buy furs for their special ladies

There was a good artical in the Wall Street Journal about fur coming back in the USA , especially with the young crowd
