I’m just laying here in bed right now for about two days after a treatment I can’t sleep because one of the drugs also have a severe cold sensitivity for over a week can’t touch eat or drink anything cold pulse many other side effects ….l have treatment every other week six hours at the hospital and 48 hours with a pump I have to carry around still have a long way to go plus a surgery…just not having a good night right now sorry for the rant…just hoping I get back to normal at some point

Sorry your having a rought time. I will tell you Edible thc or pot really made a huge difference for my mom when she was on chemo. She was the biggest anti drug person I know but a nurse friend of hers left a thc chocolate bar at her house after seeing it for 2 weeks she broke down and ate some because it's chocolate and she likes chocolate.
She went from nearly dead not eating and could not get off the couch to being yp sweeping the floor eating and talking like nothing was wrong with her.

May not be something your interested in but this is what I saw when mom was going through radiation and chemo comming up on 6 years ago. They gave hare A 22% chance to live 5 years after treatments and breast removal. and she is almost to 6 years out now.

Yes it does suck my son was on about the same regimen he would suck on hard candy that seemed to help

There are others here been threw the same thing. My srelf included so you not alone. Don't let it get you down stay the course keep plugging along.
My daughter completed her chemo couple weeks ago. She now doing radiation.

Chemo is not something I'd wish on anyone. Stay strong, it's temporary, and you'll get through it.

Yeah chemo isn't any fun I'll be the first to agree , radiation therapy isn't Mich better but they both are a means to a positive end which is beating a illness !

Whatever you do figure out what to eat so they don't make you get a feeding tube those are doable but are another bump in the road to deal with that you can avoid by eating something to keep up you're weight .

At the moment this is your new normal it's just a means to a successful conclusion , remember that you have a lot of friends or extended family here on T man to vent to for support during the challenging times .

You can do this as it's just a temporary issue to deal with didn't they tell you before all this started ?
Get cancer , meet pretty nurses !!!! Ha ha keep your sense of humor up too and we're all on your side !

Cancer free now for over 7 years soon you too will be telling folks the same thing !

I'd say you have the right to rant all you want. Hang in there - better days are ahead.

Be strong bud. I was on it daily for three straight years with my rare blood leukemia. I’m in treatment free remission now and have been for 10 months. Good chance I may not need to go back on it, but I also know there is no cure for what I have and it could come back some day. Then I will be back on it daily for life.
If it takes care of the cancer, it’s doing it job. The cure is no fun for sure.
