I’m going to turkey hunt this spring with a long bow

I’ve harvested one other turkey with it years ago,,,,

Just waiting for warm up so I can start shooting outside

The only turkey I’ve taken with a bow was with a 2 blade fixed broadhead

I’ll need to get some new broadheads before spring

I’m far from a trad bow expert like D.T,,,,,,I’m still shooting aluminum arrows

But I am keen

The merriam’s around here are pretty dumb and with a 1 bird limit,,,,,it will allow me to hunt a lot longer

Maybe I’ll get one???

It’s going to be fun!!!

I've never fished them for walleye, just for muskies. Twilight is a good lake for tiger muskies for some reason. My son and a couple friends have caught natural tigers out of that lake. It can be very hard to get a boat into, beaver dams blocking the way. Imagine my surprise when I read a book by Fred Bear and he talked about killing that moose while hunting those three lakes.
