BigJoe. OP trapper B Joined: Aug 2010 Stanton Mi.	My trapping is about done (waiting on spring beaver trapping) so I needed a small project. About a year ago my neighbor gave me an older Marlin model 39 .22 caliber lever action. (My neighbor does not hunt or shoot, and are older than me). It was a bit rusty and the stocks were worn. I'm not a gun Smith by any means but I enjoy tinkering with guns to bring them back to life. Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers Association Director at Large

160user trapper 1 Joined: Jan 2007 MN	It looks nice. I have great luck with an Orange stripper and NEVER use sandpaper on a gun stock. That Orange stuff is pretty slick. It eats right through rubber gloves so you know it is the good stuff. I have nothing clever to put here.
