Not a beauty for sure. How long have you guys had a trap sit before it finally hit? This one had been there over a month and was the only one I had never pulled.

Caught one today in a trap that had been in the ground since 1/6

I did freshen the bait/lure a couple times in between but has been over a week since I did

Thanks.guys and nice BT. I hadnt been back to this one since i set it. It was easy to see from 300 yards if anything was there.

I used to trap for a sheep farmer before he sold all them. I had several that would sit a month or so before a catch. We get a fair amount of rain, good bait last a long time, almost think it just gets better.

I have some traps that have been in the ground for over a month. I did refresh from gusto to a new to me gland lure from someone off this forum. They are bedded in waxed dirt so the expense is already there and they are close to home.

Hope to pick up a couple more before I have to pull.

Sometimes we get tired of checking empty traps then unexpectedly they hit.
