Temporarily" close down the area where you an are working.
I've been there...

This is good advice.Your are after a coyote now in a city area. Not as much room to try and set for like being in a large non inhabited area.Your town council can help with getting the word out about the trapping. I think I read you saying about tripping traps . Maybe place a bucket over them each to keep from resetting daily.

Bucket or.... bucket cover nailed down. Did this at game bird farm job one year....had to cover my sets up on the weekends and then uncover when I was given the ALL CLEAR.
Drilled five holes through my five gallon bucket lids and used landscaping nails to peg down...worked slick.

Charge by the job, day, hour. I try to figure how many hours and times that the per hour fee. Time starts when you leave in the morning and stops when you return.
Add mileage as a seperate line item, total for the day.
I would not put signs up about trapping, but would have the town put an add in the paper/Online coyote control, traps will be used with dates you will be trapping and for folks to keep their pets locked up. If folks are going to voice any opposition you can get it over with ahead of time and not when you are trying to work. The city can deel with them and not you.
I would use good rubberjaws
Don't sell yourself cheap
