Under it is the very rare one of prototype 4.75x6

I see you forgot the most important one of the bunch there Wesley The one pic with the pan type trigger , That was the very first ever produced , Only 60 were thought to have been made in Edmonton Canada and went north with Conibear , but were determined to be unsuitable because of the pan , Most were thrown away and few survive. Could you place a pic of that one up Or did you get it? Thanks

Madtrapper, I can,t honestly remember if he mentions the traps in the book , But nontheless I spoke to his son Visy, a few years back and he said his father Eric was experimenting with them at the time.

Testing the new Conibear trap was never mentioned in the 2 copys of "Three Against The Wilderness" that I have. Can anyone tell me what happened to the son, Veasy?

What I said was this: In the Book written by Eric Collier Three Against The Wilderness, Eric Collier who wrote the book, was the one who tested the Traps made for Frank Conibear .
Now do we get it??
As far as his son Veasy, When I talked to him, He had little to no interest in traps or anything to do with that time period, He is an old man now and retired.
