Lost access about a month ago to the Turner County tract with the hogs. Gonna miss that place. Got to hunt it 4 years. Killed 5 good Ga bucks, 3 gobblers, and 9 hogs there.

Landowner decided he is gonna lease the 1000 acre tract (been hunting it for free) but it will probably be well outta my financial reach. I still have an iron in the fire, but I'm not expecting to get a call back.

Swamp, do they have any problem with predators, beavers, etc? Might open up a door....

The landowner owns several other tracts in Georgia and all are leased to $$ folks.

Old guy is not concerned about anything other than the timber. The rest is just to make him money.

He owns some prime hunting tracts in the state. One tract in middle Ga is currently being leased for $50/acre...and it's a 1000 acre tract also....

Let me know if you want a partner on the Turner Co property. Go in halves for the lease. All I want is to shoot pigs and a turkey or two…and most likely not me shooting but kids or a friend. Always looking for somewhere else to chase birds or hogs. You can have the deer, lol. I’d help shoot some does if needed.

If I get a call back from landowner to lease I'm sure it's gonna be way to high for me.

Even as low as $10/acre...that's $10,000 annually. That would be doable with 3 or 4 of my cousins.

But, more than likely this tract will lease for $35,000 or more annually.

Dang, that's a pile of money....should make us "Nuisance Trappers" pause and consider what our services are really worth.
