It wont work on my bigger cages but I can fit a coon sized cage in a feed sack. Keeps em water proof, allows only 1 way in, and is free if it gets torn up.

Make sure it doesn't tip over.
Make sure where ever you put it, won't get damaged by the raccoon.
It'll defecate also, so keep that in mind.

Large sleep ez hook wo to ld be what I would use. That way you don't have to reach inside the trap with an angry coon.

Another reason to not use ring door traps.

Never had one of those cages fall over, on the ground or back of the truck, Throw it in the truck and take it for a ride...don't worry about it opening.

X2 Shoot that coon too, don't move him somewhere to be someone else's problem. There are plenty of coons.

As long as that's legal and the coon is dead, shouldn't be a problem for anyone anymore.

Take some thin wire and suspend big marshmallows 4-5 in the back of the cage make sure they cant be reached from any angle other than by going over the pan. I sue this for nuisance coons that wont cooperate.
