Just to start a vent and look at the positive post. Me first. Was a rough day at my business. I got nothing of substance done due to nonstop meetings. Positive. All six of my daughters are doing great and my wife looked beautiful! next...

Well, you should never have a bad day ever with all those beautiful ladies in your life.

Had a great day went and spent the day at the ranch. It was a low 50 degree day some rain and partial sunny. I hiked and spent most of the day outdoors. Another day in Paradise.

SSDD I will say the weather is at least better. Even that came with a down side though. We went from 3 degrees last week to ticks and skeeters today.

Spent the day sampling monitoring wells at an abandoned gas station. No one around to bother me and the weather was beautiful. Pretty good day.

To quote the famous Norm Peterson from Cheers:
"It a dog eat dog world and I'm wearing Milkbone underwear".
That's how my days have been for the last few weeks. However,no matter what:
DON'T LET THE HARD DAYS WIN!!!

This reminds me of thing we used to do when my children were young and still at home. Every evening around the supper table we would play Best/Worst.

Each person, parents included, had to state what the best thing and worst thing that had happened to them that day was. We did it for years and still do it at family gatherings sometimes.

Eh...wot?

Love that as a great way to open up and communicate what each person has going on in their head a day at a time.

Goes by fast! My oldest is 26, married and now pregnant with grand baby #1. My youngest went on her first date the other day. Went from the young parents to old parents in a blink of the eye. Man! I look old while wife still has it! Ouch!

I bid a job off a customer supplied photo, we ended up cutting down the wrong tree and will have to work all day tomorrow for free. Got home and a cow had bloated and died. Came inside and the girls are all edgy. Bout $6,000 worth of screw ups today.

Where I work they were letting people go today. That's never good no matter who it is. Its been this way for about a year now. Metal manufacturing company. Things have gotten extremely slow. I am approaching retirement age and hope things turn around before I retire.
