What makes anyone think taxes would actually be collected on a cash business?

This is the exact same attitude many have towards weed. I’m not saying it’s wrong. I am just curious what’s your take on legalizing weed. Lol

Interesting question, I've never partaken, but feel people can screw up their lives however they want.I've known people that can smoke weed and still be productive. Others become a total waste of space, frankly they probably would be losers anyway somehow...and pot was available everywhere to whoever wanted it. So hopefully the states that legalized it don't pee the tax money away, though thats doubtful.

I think smokers now feel they're safe so you see it in the open more, which looks like more people have taken it up, maybe they have, but I kinda think they've been smoking all along just hid it better, and it's not like we were winning the war on drugs anyway.....so yeah, let er rip....lol

About time they legalized being a politician. As far as the lot lizards at every truck stop and to many rest areas to count, only thing I hope it does is require at least weekly STD test.

most likely solution for that will be licensing. You know for healt and safety with classes medical checks and requirements like protection ect complete with fees and such for the income.

Does not look like the war on drugs is going to happen either. Not a single lab has been blown up. No cartel money seized. rvsask, billions upon billions of profit. Wont be made legal or illegal. Just like prostitution. Would take to much profit out of it. if heroin fentanyl meth were not only legal but given away at no cost, no welfare for users, no narcan, the drug problem would be over in weeks.

Legalizing destructive behavior is never a good thing. Making it illegal won't stop people from doing it. About the only option is to neither make it legal or illegal, just let it be what it is.

Legalize all of it. End all welfare. It may hurt for a while, but equilibrium will be achieved.

I'm curious as to what the destructive behavior is? Let's assume they manage things like they do in Nevada. STD testing constantly, women work in a protected place. Lots of rules and regulations in place to protect both the client and the prostitute. It certainly is not for everybody, but for those that it is I say go for it.

My wife's grandmother used to work as a cook for women in a brothel in Colombia. She thought so highly of one of the young women that she named a daughter after her.

Unwanted pregnancies leading to abortions would definitely be destructive to the child. Of course some people consider a child in the womb to not be a child but I bet the child would argue different if given that chance.
I suppose sterilization could be required before licensing to avoid such destruction but a choice that may be a regret in the future.
As for male prostitutes I would imagine bowel control may become an issue with said career choice.

At truck stop in E St louis some years ago a girl got in the truck beside mine. Took off her clothes with the dome light on. Got in the sleeper for awhile, got out and was dressing in the cab. Got on the cb and found another friend, said just a minute honey let me get my jeans on. He blinked his lights and she ran on over. a bit later she came back to my truck. I rolled the window down and declined her offer of friendship. she got mad, said I saw you watch me get undressed. Im going to get my boyfriend and he is going to kick your hiney. i was in my 20's so told her I was in a bad mood anyway so go get him. Nobody showed up.

I was involved in building an oil change company at the Galloway exit just outside North Little Rock on I-40. We had to pump the ground water off to form up the pit. Pumped water came out of a pipe out back of the construction site. Was not uncommon to see the lot lizards bath in pumped water after spending time at the truck stop out at the interstate.

Yeah that petro was bad for them. I told enough of that of tales though. That petro had a real good buffet. I ate there a lot. They were good about having clean showers also. FWIW that truckwash next door and the Loves across the street were also infested. just down the road at W. memphis was bad too.
