The annual Trapper's Day at the Capital is next Wednesday, March 5th, from 11:00 - 2:00 in room 323 of the Capital. Note the change in venue from the State Office Building, which is under renovation. Theres people coming from all over the state, so if you want to ride with someone you might be able to find a carpool. Its a great opportunity to meet your legislator and discuss your concerns or just hang out with other trappers. I can help you line up meetings with your state Senator and House member if you want, and I or someone with experience can even go to the meetings with you if you've never done it before.

I'll be coming down with a pickup full guys. Another guy from up here is coming with him and his dad. That's six from district 2. If all aid districts had that money show up we'd have 50 guys there.

I plan on attending. I have a young trader who plans on skipping school to ride with.

Tim, always good to have some youth there. This kid is definitely motivated to trap. 94 beaver last fall with his sights of 200 total this spring and I'm sure he'll do it. Will be doing a demo at our convention this year and wants to go out of state with me next fall for cats & coyotes....and he just turned 18. Ya, he'll be a good one to have on our team!

Well it looks like a weather event for the metro starting tonight into the morning.
Drive safe all and add some extra time for travel
