I know some of you have them as carry guns.

the son got some where north of 500 rounds in his this last week , he wasn't keeping great track but figured >500 was about right

the striker channel picks up carbon and little bitty brass bits , probably want to start cleaning that out ever 250 rounds.

coming from a Glock where you can go into the thousands of round without cleaning and not have any issues 500 to issues seems a little low but as long as you check it reasonably often it should be ok

he cleaned an oiled to the instructions the day he got it and has shot and carried it for about 3 months now , other than the light strike issue that seems to have been the crud in the striker channel he likes it.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't have one but I e shot my buddy's and I was impressed. The thing has a fair balance between concealability and performance.

Thanks for the info. I'll tear mine apart next time and take a look to make sure

I like mine. I've got the regular P365, not the XL. Had it probably 4 yrs. I'd guess I'm close to 5-600 rds .

I usually put 2-300 through one before I carry with a gun.

I try and do the same with a carry gun 200 rounds ball and at least 50 of my carry ammo

he gets more rounds in everything than I do any more. he reloads on a Dillan 750xl with case and bullet feeder , he is shooting almost every other week some sort of match.

he ran the P365XL from concealment in one of the matches as he has a dot on it , it fits in carry optics division , he said for a small gun that weights less than half of his competition carry optics gun he still shot quite well.
he felt it was a really solid gun for a gun fight should you get in one. very easy to conceal but still decently easy to shoot.
obviously if you new you were headed for a gun fight you would bring backup rifles and air support but you never actually know when you are going to be cursed with someone's bad judgment. so something that carries so easy it is always on you is good.

he is running it with the Wilson combat grip module , it does give a little better purchase than the Sig module did.

I shot a friend's regular size one a mag or so and liked it. shot it well for such a small gun my pinky didn't have a good purchase on. smoked my 2" spinners at about 10 yards quickly. good enough for me for a small self defense gun on my first mag out of it.

the X is more grip the L is more barrel length as I understand it

you can put a different grip module on any of them to get more purchase for the pinki also they have a pinki extender for the mag

the catch in all this is SIG gets about 50 dollars a magazine so you can change the grip module for 65-70 then need longer mags to go with it at 50 each

The 365XL has become my favorite all-around pistol.

It’s been my EDC gun for a couple years now.

Knock on wood, zero issues with mine thus far. And I know I have north of 1500 rounds through it.
