I cooked possum for the radio show this weekend, we tape it today, first time every cooking possum, it was better than I thought it would be, lol smile [Linked Image]

Cage them up, corn feed them out, and cook them up is what old man Thompson did with them when I was a kid. Never was a partaker myself. That actually looks good.

Enough good batter and probably everything is tasty. Then again, possum is a light colored meat so if a person just took the back legs and never had to open the body up.

My Dad liked possum. Catch one live, cage and feed it abut 3 weeks. Momma baked them and they were greasy but edible. Those breaded and fried legs actually look good.

I took just the legs off, really not much meat on the rest of them, yes, I would eat them again, but I would pressure cook them first, them look like a light meat, but are dark rich meat, these had been eating grain since winter started
