Guy , I'd post this in the wilderness trapping forum also , I seen one of them had something similar they got for their snowmobile .

Thnx It's a sort of copy of their design, but imade it a parallelogram so the passenger backrest can fit. It's also a lot bigger, but still really light. Heavier stuff down low, and lighter stuff up high. The ice fishing gear mounts slide out in one second for tight trail travel. Even when the box has a few beaver in it, center of gravity is way lower than riding two up. Plus the whole box comes off and goes on instantly with the LinQ system. Based on the location of the linQ mounts from the pics, I'm not sure a passenger backrest will fit on with the Yes box installed. I wanted that flexibility, so designed the box differently.

Hutchy & Les thank you for sharing the great pictures they make me want to try building one for my old snowmobile too !
Guy , you already catch a bunch of marten every year ! You may even find a semi truck bed liner to cut down to the sizes you'd need to make it ?

Thanks so much milkcrate and bearcat2 excellent information. I will build my own now and will think about some designs. I just want something that is solid, doesn’t shift around and can carry all my gear

Thanks so much milkcrate and bearcat2 excellent information. I will build my own now and will think about some designs. I just want something that is solid, doesn’t shift around and can carry all my gear Those yes boxes are expensive. The wood ones really will do the same basic trapping function mine will. Carry stuff lol. I just seem to like overdoing everything ha ha. I held mine together with urethaned oak pieces inside and added weatherstripping to keep snow dust out. The yes boxes are very nice, but the cost of UHMW alone was pretty staggering, so i understand the high price. Tough to beat a nicely made plywood box. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/03/full-40075-250212-img_20250228_142358.jpg)
