Question for the woodworkers. I am looking at table saws and considering the Grizzly G0899. Any experience with this saw or others in the size and price range (1500-2000) would be appreciated. Also, how is the fence?

This is the only 2 hp saw that runs on 110V (can also be wired for 220V). It seems all the other brands only go up to 1.75 hp on 110V.

We have a grizzly at work. The saw itself is pretty indestructible. However I don’t care for the fence. It is very difficult to get any sort of precision out of it. It is nearly 20 years old and that might have to do with it.

I have had a Grizzly model 2202 [I think] for 25 years and yes pretty indestructible. The fence broke last year ,parts no longer made so I put a Delta fence on and saw is still going strong, no other problems. Can't say how new ones are but I would buy Grizzly again.

Nothing on the grizzly saw, but have a biesemeyer fence on an American made delta saw that works really good, the portable table saw is a Bosch.
