We went to see the start of the Iditarod today. The race start was moved from Palmer to Fairbanks due to the lack of snow in Palmer.

Did anyone else go?

I used to watch the start of the Iditarod, the highlights and the finish on TV. I would like to go dog sledding sometime, but in Ohio, there's not much of a chance of finding a place to do it. I've looked into doing it with my dogs on wheeled sleds on the roads.

I got interested in dog sledding when I was kid, reading Jack London books.

In my opinion, the Iditarod is one of the world's greatest sporting events.

YouTube has videos showing a lot of the Iditarod.



It used to be shown on a cable sports channel and likely still is.

They could go on a normal game show and win that in under 2 minutes. I agree they deserve more. I also think people on game shows deserve less.

It wasn't, but I would not be worried about it because it's pretty imbecilic to not grasp sarcasm. I long ago learned that most people's opinions and beliefs about you don't mater whatsoever, because they don't matter.

I also think it likely he was being sarcastic too.

Sarcastic, the Trapperman word of the day. Everyone should look it up. It was put in the dictionary right after they removed the word gullible.
