We went to see the start of the Iditarod today. The race start was moved from Palmer to Fairbanks due to the lack of snow in Palmer.

I used to watch the start of the Iditarod, the highlights and the finish on TV. I would like to go dog sledding sometime, but in Ohio, there's not much of a chance of finding a place to do it. I've looked into doing it with my dogs on wheeled sleds on the roads.

I got interested in dog sledding when I was kid, reading Jack London books.

In my opinion, the Iditarod is one of the world's greatest sporting events.
