I cringe whenever I order something and it is being shipped Fedex. They are the worst in my experience, and EVERYTHING shipped through them goes to Troutdale and takes a sabbatical there.

And if you have a lost package your chances of ever collecting on the worthless insurance they offer is about the same as successfully poking butter up a wildcats arse with a hot poker.

I just use ups to ship my stuff to the tannery..
Might cost me more money,,, but I feel better about my stuff reaching its destination in a timely manner.

Aw good ole Troutdale mine was there for a week then went to Portland where it has been sitting for 10 days. Scheduled delivery date from shipper was the 17th.

I find some comfort in the fact that I'm not the only one experiencing it. USPS tends to have delays at their redirection facilities as well but 2-3 days is usually all. Almost never lasts more than a week. By far the most reliable mail service for getting things to and from Alaska.

Y'all should live in a bush village in AK... sometimes takes three months to send or receive a package. Mailed a friend in Indiana some moose antlers, they went to Hawaii first, then to Indiana.

IMO its the union. No incentive to do a decent job. Its not a once in a while thing. Happens regular. Once in a while would be an honest mistake. More often than not and people need fired, starting with the sorting center manager.

The head and guts are all bad. Supposed to have got package yesterday. They dropped it off 25 mi. from here, now they sent it back to St Louis and it will be Thursday before it gets here, so the tracking says. Seems like their tracking is much to do about nothing, its seldom right.

Same I have a bunch of forever stamps. 73¢ now. Still unbelievably cheap

Ever since they went to this regional hub set up. I've noticed here that packages coming from east to west. Aren't as bad as packages coming south or west. I haven't shipped or sent anything for a while now. When I was shipping things regularly. I know was always slower tracking west of the Mississippi. No idea why that was. Things coming from west not so bad. Things going west. Crap shoot.
Certainly not going to improve by firing the new guys that just drive the trucks.

Took a week for a priority envelope to get here from ND $10.10 postage just 1 state away.

The trucks are contractors. Drivers never see whats in the trailer. Its the folks at the distribution centers.

I'm still waiting for two Priority Mail packets mailed on Feb 3. Somehow I don't think they will ever be heard from again...!

If they were smart they would just get rid of their tracking and tell people it'll take 2-4 weeks for delivery then you all wouldn't be so disappointed in them.

ADC that barrel I bought from you took two weeks if I remember right? We are not more than about 300 miles apart. Once in a while is understandable but not every other time.

I don't even recall that transaction Danny. I don't like it when they shuffle all my stuff around either, I just got a package a few days ago that went from Minnesota to Iowa by way of New Jersey, lol.

I'd say they do a decent job with room for improvement
