Any of you have one of these spiffy little no till drills for food plots and tight areas that tows behind a 4 wheeler or whatever.

Just wondering if there’s anyone that has some miles on it and been proven to be worth the money for sowing cover crops and what brand.

I can do all the food plots I want with a 4' 3pt tiller. Beats anything I have seen. Till nice and deep, spread seed, till it in like 3" deep, spread seed, till the top layer .5" - 1". Drive over it putting tire marks over every square inch. My spreader hooks up to the back of my tiller so I till with it unhooked, hook it up, spread, unhook, and till again. (taking the tiller on and off is a pain.)

My brothers and I have a Genesis no till drill. We don't have the model to pull behind an atv, but I would guess that the atv/utv model is just as high of quality as the bigger models. We have been very satisfied with it so far. Our farm has less than great soil (rocky/clay), but the drill works great. We used to have to disc and disc to try and get a decent seed bed, but we don't have to disc at all anymore. We just spray and plant. One pass to spray, one pass to plant and it's all done.

I also have the Genesis no til 3 point setup. Nice and heavy and cuts into my less then ideal soil in Southeast Ohio. Seems to be built very well.

I had a plotmaster that did great but it was not a no till

I have seen people take the old John Deere drills and cut them in half to make 2 smaller ones and they are towable behind ATV/UTV or whatever you have

This is a good deal. I'm tempted to drive over and take it off your hands...

Great Plains makes pretty good drills, but a tractor is probably needed.

Truax has some nice drills I am not up to date on the different models But they are a well made drill that is nice for operating in places that are maybe a little bit harder to maneuver if you are using a more heavy duty drill

Not a small ATV size, but I bought 7' Great Plains no-till drill for food plots or anything. It has 3 seed boxes, and will plant warm season grass, beans or whatever, and a small seed box for clover. I have been using one for 22 years and bought my own 4 years ago and love it. Big tires and enough weight to get the job done no matter what the soil conditions.

I just bought the cheapest one at harbor freight it was like 200$ on sale works fine
