The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

I was just saying this at work to some younger guys... At 48 and having to lay down on the floor to change a dishwasher today... when you get older you may have wished you went a little slower back in the day when you were younger so you could be in better shape when you get older. i.e. if i wouldn't have wrecked so many four wheelers back in the day I might be in the actual shape needed to do a backpacking elk hunt but reality is dragging the trash cans to the end of the drive is a lot of work these days... my shoulders are shot, my hips/knees creek... etc.... and I didn't see that coming in my 40's. Good luck to ya.

I feel part of the reason I can still trap at 75 is because I stayed off motorcycles and snowmobiles Lol

I've got a pig to butcher, baby chicks to get started, seeds to start, and kids to entertain.

Getting new trapping bag lined out that arrives in the mail tomorrow, and putting up all traps beside the last dozen I am using next weekend, followed up with Mexican food date night with the wife .

A buddy just turned me on to REK's tunes. Man I have been missing out! We got tickets to see him in concert in KC coming up soon, then my wife realized we might have a conflict on the calendar............ BUMMER. Debating on whether to keep her now or not. LOL

Heading to Pheasant Fest/ Quail Classic in KC on one of the days it is running.

My weekend is Monday-Tuesday cause I'm a rebel. Get to pick up my gun from the gunsmith and then go out trapping again.

Selling my place on the lake this spring, so we're moving a lot of personal property.

My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

Heading for Glenn's Ferry for the Idaho trappers Association Fur Sale. Gotta think a thread will appear soon for that event.

Clean out wood duck boxes.
Prune back apple trees and a decorative willow bush.
Package up furs to go to the tannery.
After dark, work on a new concho belt for the Wife to wear at rendezvous.
