im not sure on how many of you are using one way doors but if you do have you noticed a rise in critters getting back in (coons and squirrls) for example had a job last spring of coon ripped in through sofit but person didnt want it caught so out comes the one way door come back 10 days later to remove the door and the owner says it hasnt left my buddy and both look at each other like thats impossible they need food and water in the spring, summer and fall the home owner than tells us she sees it on the roof nightly so we set up a spypoint and sure enough watched the coon lift the door and enter so i came up with putting an extra door on which really doesnt do much other than they can lift one but cant lift two ended up being not the only job last year we experienced that and decided it was more in subdivisons where multple pest control companys could be working with most big companys switched to one way doors coons and squirrels have figured them out dont think they have figured the plexi glass doors yet but certain the wire mesh they have

One way doors have their place. However you need to know your limitations and where and when to use them. Coons not a good idea, squirrels at the wrong time of year not a good idea. Chewers and strong animals are best trapped. Bats are good to use them for.

Operators that get lazy and want to adopt a Pest control operators habits you get what you sow.

What Bob said.
Only one time did I use a one way for a raccoon. It worked.
I use them a lot for grays, but surround them with tube traps. Lactating/nesting females will chew back in if not caught quickly enough. A few days ago I set a #55 coni over an entry, she still chewed a hole right on the side of my trap and hardware cloth barrier. Ended up being two females and the best I could tell, neither of them was pregnant or lactating, which really surprised me.

Flyers and birds you can use 1 ways on too, but flyers can chew back in every once in a while.
