Every joint on my body is racked with it, anytime I move the joints go "duhduhduhdiuh' as they ratchet. Sucks big time.

My mother had it bad through her shoulders, arms, hips and legs
I changed her diet to eliminate sugar and processed foods
After only 2 weeks she has improved to the point that I don't have to help her walk and she insists on doing small chores around the house now
Most of the packaged food is garage that we put into our bodies

Aspartame will cripple you before it needs to happen that stuff is a joint ache in a can. If you're a big diet pop drinker stop drinking anything with aspartame it’s life changing.

Yep my body is riddled with arthritis. Making a skinning machine now to help compensate for the hands and back pain. I figure it's just the price of growing old. Figure a way to deal with it or sit on the couch and slowly rot is what I think.
You'll find ways to deal with it. I take a little Tylenol and make sure I drink plenty of water

I've said this a few times before here. My rheumatologist prescribed hydroxychloroquine, it worked like a miracle. I had it in my fingers and wrists, for a few years, could not make a closed fist, pain, swollen knuckles, etc.. All the symptoms are gone, I noticed the change taking place in less than two weeks after I started taking it. No side effects, cheap, etc., that's probably why they don't like prescribing it. If your Dr. won't at least let you try it, find a different Dr.

my right knee is as good as it was when i was in my 20s.
im almost 69 and thinking bout getting my right shoulder done

I’ve got it in my knees and hips. I had it shaved out but the doc compares it to mowing the grass….he says it’s going to come back. I’m in ‘remission’ at the moment. Physical therapy helps a lot. Supposedly helps buy time before replacement.

Arthritis in my fingers is making it difficult to button and unbutton my shirts.

A knee replacement and five rotator cuff surgeries. ARTHRITIS sucks!

The doc said to use topical cream (bengay etc) Tylenol and prescribed Hydrocodone, it's helped some.
Going to a PT Wednesday maybe that'll help too. Gettin old ain't for sissy's smirk

My doc said I've got gouty arthritis. So I've been putting up with the arthritis but the gout was making it tough finding shoes that would fit without hurting all day.

Awhile back someone here posted about their grandfather or father eating canned cherries daily. Well, I tried that and it seemed to work somewhat. Then Susan found this on the 'net after reading about cherries and gout. Tried it and the pain in the feet went away and hasn't come back.

I suppose if you have diabetic issues that might be too much sugar. But, it works for me.

Snow cones were a big hit for me at the county fair when I was a kid. Dad bought an ice grinder and we would have snow cones at home. Well, my daughter found this on EBay and surprised me with it for Christmas. Now, after dinner, I grind up ice, fill up a glass, and add an ounce of the cherry juice. Then an ounce of water. Stir well and I have a treat that lasts for awhile. If I have it early enough in the evening I don't wind up fartin' all night. Susan appreciates that. Anyway, this is what works for me.
