He was 95, why does this even make the news? These liberal folks from the actors community have no problem making millions off of movies where they kill numerous people, yet they are the first ones to be crying about gun control. Yet they are the very first to cash in on the Hollywood cadre of pukes that have no problem with the gun violence in their endeavors. I have no idea why any news source even reports these geriatric folks passing when they are so elderly. So be it. Let it go. Especially when they have cashed in on the very issue that want to take away from us as law abiding folks that dont make millions off of the irresponsible movies projecting them as some hero, while in fact, they are nothing, in their roles but murderous idiots.
I know I will get bashed but think about what I am saying before you do. Old folks pass away, just as you and I will, will we be on any news reel. very much unlikely.

So wife died, Gene about a week later suffering from a cardiac disease & Alzheimer’s/amnesia. Dog most likely died of dehydration. It’s the type of call where the guys coming to pick up the bodies ask “bag or tub”……..”bring the tub”

Every news station is concerned about one thing. Ratings. People are apparently interested in this story--or the news station will make them interested. And our society loves its celebrities. As someone who lives part time in NM and who appreciated Hackman as an actor, I do find it interesting. I agree it's not a tragedy. It's just life. Doesn't mean it's not newsworthy.

I feel the worst about the dog locked in the kennel. I suspect dieing from dehydration was painful. Worst part of the story.

I have worked on 3 incidents of Hanta where human death has happened. Once some field samples of mice have come in they know what strain it is....and how hot it is.

And then what? Kill every mouse in a 5 mile radius? [/quote] many times you can not find any mice alive in that 5 mile radius in a " hot zone" they have died weeks before Dna live samples obtained tell how Hanta has changed for it to be so deadly

I watched a documentary on hanta virus years ago and it was scary. At the time they said nobody was working on a cure because it was so fast moving that the patients always died before they could even be diagnosed.
