But to have enough silt or sand that would bury and kill a sea animal would be a lot more than turbulence could cause.

Evolution of course That a microscopic cell could turn into a Gigantosaurus in a few million years and in another few million turn into a Hummingbird And a giant star (sun) made up of hydrogen and oxygen (unproven) can burn for billions of years and keep on going unlike any other combustible Whats not to like
The only flaw in evoluntion ary thinking is that some folks still think the last 4 years were the best ever and nothing should change Even the Chimpanzee's know better

So do you believe in Creation or evolution?

Mountain can be explained because the earth was all one giant supercontinent after the flood. The earth was divided soon after. 'To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth (erets) was divided' (Genesis 10:25). When the earth broke up it formed massive tectonic plates. These plates would collide with other plates and they would buckle up and form mountains. Look at the Appalachian Mountains, they were most likely formed when Africa slammed into the North American continent. If you notice in perpendicular line from the Appalachian mountains is the Atlas Mountains. Coincidence? I think not.

You sure is a smart feller.

That was exactly my point. Conditions have to be just right for fossilization to occur. Flood, mudslide, quicksand, erosion etc. In most cases the animal was already dead before covered but in some cases buried alive.

How could a tree fossil form? They have been found upside down extending upwards into several rock layers. If your theory is to work each layer would have to be laid down and have time to harden before the next layer got added. All when the tree got turned upside down? Got any ideas?

I never saw pictures of upside down trees but have seen standing trees fossilized. My only explanation is they got covered up quickly or the wood was really rot resistant LOL. It doesnt take that much covering to cover bones and I never said exactly how much covering is the perfect recipe. They could have been ;laying horizontally at first and then got heaved up by some catastrophic force.

Mount Saint Helen is proof that tree's can be fossilized it a short period of time.
Bud not necessarily from a flood.
In this case it was a volcanic eruption.
