Husky- You would be surprised at what washes ashore and turbulance underwater. Factors have to be right for a fossil to form. For every Ichthyosaur thats found probably 300 got destroyed. and never found. Mary Anning got lucky. But to have enough silt or sand that would bury and kill a sea animal would be a lot more than turbulence could cause.

Evolution of course That a microscopic cell could turn into a Gigantosaurus in a few million years and in another few million turn into a Hummingbird And a giant star (sun) made up of hydrogen and oxygen (unproven) can burn for billions of years and keep on going unlike any other combustible Whats not to like The only flaw in evoluntion ary thinking is that some folks still think the last 4 years were the best ever and nothing should change Even the Chimpanzee's know better

What would have caused the earth to immediately stop for 30 seconds?
Mountain can be explained because the earth was all one giant supercontinent after the flood. The earth was divided soon after. 'To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth (erets) was divided' (Genesis 10:25). When the earth broke up it formed massive tectonic plates. These plates would collide with other plates and they would buckle up and form mountains. Look at the Appalachian Mountains, they were most likely formed when Africa slammed into the North American continent. If you notice in perpendicular line from the Appalachian mountains is the Atlas Mountains. Coincidence? I think not. You sure is a smart feller.

But to have enough silt or sand that would bury and kill a sea animal would be a lot more than turbulence could cause. That was exactly my point. Conditions have to be just right for fossilization to occur. Flood, mudslide, quicksand, erosion etc. In most cases the animal was already dead before covered but in some cases buried alive.
