Yep I trap around Crater Lake National Park, it’s a big piece of land, you have to know the boundary’s No trapping or hunting allowed. They do allow fishing. National forest you can trap, hunt, fish and picnic. In Oregon the national forest are all miss managed and just burn. Hardly any logging. The environmental groups sue any timber sale. Allot of these lawsuits come from the university law school, basically free for the environmental groups to be a pain in the but.
We need to change the rules where the ones filing suites need to do the environmental study’s to prove there is a reason to stop the sales of timber, not the other way around. Once logging starts there is a lot more animals to see, hunt and trap. That’s good for everyone.

trapdog the land would no longer be a national park and would then revert back to public land in that state.

Okay. But that wouldn't guarantee hunting or trapping either as the states would make their own rules.

Yes I do at Baxter State Park, not a national Park and Baxter State Park has its own funding as well, unlike other state Parks and allows trapping and hunting in parts of it.

Convert all national parks and forests, even the big ones like Yellowstone, arches Yosemite, etc, into wilderness areas. Only foot traffic allowed. No roads, no sidewalks, no tourists. If you wanna see it, grab your backpack and go see it.

Would you rather have Feds in DC deciding what can be done on land or your local state government? ....btw...Iowa has the least federally owned land in the country. I prefer it that way.

The feds would just give it to the state? Just want to make sure I understand your plan.

National Parks seem to be for foreigners...Smokey Mtns infested with dot indians. Mammoth Cave is jap city.

Don't really mind a few, but when it runs 50% or more, it's ridiculous.

I disagree with that. The Tongass National Forest does not need to be roadless.
