I drove home from my daughter's this evening and counted 108 deer in one 11 mile stretch. It was in the low 50's and a lot of fields were bare ground. The deer come out of the woodwork on warm days in late winter.

When the moon is up during the day, so are the deer.
Next time you see deer out in the fields in the early afternoon look up.
