Varmintshooter is the real deal.

Not short changing him....he's a better beaver getter than me.

How do you set the traps in this case? Can I see a photo?

Always a good day when you remove a brood female, but it's a great day when you get 2 of them from different nuisance locations.

My hats off to you for trapping down there with the snakes and gators. Will stick to the dodgy ice and well that's about it to worry about up here..

This young beav has been attempting half heartedly to plug a couple breaches but he was either too lightweight to fire foothold or was just lucky past couple nights.....but not last night...got a direct push down on the NoBS trap.

What kind of impact does a gator or gator population have on the beaver, muskrat, and other furbearer populations?

Don't have any muskrat or mink here, but bigger gators do grab a beaver occasionally, especially younger beaver.

Nothing more aggravating than chasing those square tubing locks up and down a drowning rods. PS..don't forget to remove the clamp b4 you walk away and drop it back into the pocket of your old turkey vest with your pliers, beaver lure, etc.

Knees a little better this morning. Only about fell 10 times, instead of 20 + yesterday...lol

Gotta love it!

Looks like you've changed your design a little since you sent me the drawings years ago. It's a deadly setup for sure. It's all i use at dam breaks. This has also made me do more dam breaks without any lure, seems to catch all the beavers the same versus the dumb ones first type deal.

That'll work!

I'd paint it to match your common water color....not to hide from beavers but to hide from humans.

I dip mine in one of the water bases trap dips. Have used Formula1 and Ambush dips.

Yep, I’m going to give them a shot of brown paint tomorrow. We have really dark, tannin stained water here.

Do you ever have a problem with catching other beaver after catching one you hear the wife's tales if the other beaver see a dead one they get spooked and avoid the area.

Also has one in a snare nearby and a 330 downstream of the main dam.

Thank goodness for the Jet Sled beaver transporter!

The only thing I'd do different is add a piece of wood in there so the traps are sitting parallel with each other and the jaws are resting on the wood so that it doesn't put a lot of pressure on the screen at the bottom. I'm trying them without screen on the bottom now just to see how they will work.

The caught beavs are under water at end of drowning rod.....outta sight...outta mind.

There is nothing above the water line in view of the next approaching beaver to alert it. Many doubles are captured.
