My 2018 Tacoma had no rust on it I talked to a guy in MN that had a 2020 and the frame was rusted a big difference. Here you get a ditch tour if you don’t slow down.

Seriously though.. There was a place here where road salt was shorting out power lines along road. Accumulated on insulators making them go to ground.
I didn't know such a thing could happen.

Thinking about getting the new truck undercoated for rust prevention and noise reduction on gravel roads. Not much salt here but I travel a lot in the spring and fall to places that use a lot of salt it can’t hurt. I see there’s a place in Sioux Falls that will do it, you don’t see a lot of undercoating places like before.

Just soak the undah carriage with black fluid film.

Remove the spare tire...spray up in there

Remove all rocker panel plugs...and spraying there too
