I’ve been experimenting with using braided line for baiting animals, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts or experiences. I know braided line is strong and doesn’t stretch as much as other types, but I wonder if it has any unique benefits or downsides when setting up baits or traps. Anyone had success with this approach or have tips to share?

I use only braided lines for limb and trot lines. Twisted stuff is junk. If your thinking about snares your going to have some get aways.

I only mess with braided line, them twisty lines ain’t worth a lick. Try usin’ snares an’ you best believe somethin’s slippin’ off. That same braid I use for fishin’, I string it right up on my limb lines too, holds tight, don’t let go. Just grab the thick kind, you’ll be fine.

So, did you do some experimenting with it and figure out what works? Also, what are you using it for?
