I have hunted and fished in Ontario many times. Beautiful country, and the people were friendly and great to deal with too.

From the mid-70s-mid-90’s I bushwacked fished/camped on lakes in the general area of White River- west of Manituauge/Caramet. Later for 4 years I’d take the VIA out of Hornepayne and get off at Flindt Landing(about 300-350mi) Also hunted caribou in Labrador in 1991. For several years while traveling to see the kids & grandkids on the East Coast we’d cross at the Bluewater Bridge and leave Ontario at Niagara Falls and return the same way.

I've hunted in Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland. I really liked Newfoundland. The Ontario people were fine and the Newfie's were great. Folks in Quebec, not so friendly.Same thing here. Hands down, Newfoundland. I think I could live there.

I’ve hunted and fished in Ontario and Quebec. Ontario trips were far better than those in Quebec due mostly to the rudeness and arrogance of the French Canadians inhabiting that province.
Eh...wot?

My brother owned 160 acres near Dawson Creek, BC. He really loved it there and the people.

I've fished northern Saskatchewan, two times, the peaple were friendly, I connected with the indigenous peaple trading stories of trapping and hunting.

Since I've been labeled as an enemy of Canada, our group has decided to cancel our fishing, bear hunting, and waterfowl trips for this year.. Maybe for good.
Ol dad
This makes no sense to me. Just let Trump and whoever is in charge in Canada now blow and blather about whatever, and go have a good time. I'm sure those trips are awesome and life is too short to let politicians tell you what to think.
