I've caught 4 this week in cages only the Green Duke cage needs staked for me because the door opens if rolled.

I've found hanging the bait works the best

You don't need a flat pan with coon.

I don't think a flap pan hurts anything. You can catch somethings will all sorts of stuff, but good equipment will catch more. Do you set foot holds with a pan sticking up at a 45? I have drove plenty of stakes in froze ground. I know what it takes to drive them. I just didn't want to mess with it.

One reason I ALWAYS stake down cages, and also so they can't be rolled over.

The night of the 19th I caught the coon. I reset two nights and no action. Traps have not been set since. If I leave them set during the day I will catch a chicken.
