Am I the only man who finds it embarrassing to the male species when I see a grown man wearing another man's jersey? You know, it says "Mahomes" or "James" or whatever instead of their own, actual name. I realize its supposed to be supporting the team, but what about the man-team? Do they play for the "other team"?

Happy Monday.

Really??? I can’t believe something this petty has you upset!! Seriously???

Of course, I’m not a man so I focus on the more important things going on in the world. And there LOTS of more important things going on.

Oh, come on, what could be more important than being concerned about someone's worship of a celebrity?
Make celebrity worship great again.

I think cheering for sports teams replaces a need in humans to support their tribes' warriors against another tribe. I've never been a big fan of watching sports, but enjoyed playing them.

I do occasionally watch MMA, boxing and college football. I've never worn someone else's jersey.

Ted Kaczinski was right when he referred to sports as surrogate activities.

“A surrogate activity is an activity that is directed toward an artificial goal that the individual pursues for the sake of the “fulfillment” that he gets from pursuing the goal, not because he needs to attain the goal itself. For instance, there is no practical motive for building enormous muscles, hitting a little ball into a hole or acquiring a complete series of postage stamps. Yet many people in our society devote themselves with passion to bodybuilding, golf or stamp-collecting. Some people are more “other-directed” than others, and therefore will more readily attach importance to a surrogate activity simply because the people around them treat it as important or because society tells them it is important. That is why some people get very serious about essentially trivial activities such as sports, or bridge, or chess, or arcane scholarly pursuits, whereas others who are more clear-sighted never see these things as anything but the surrogate activities that they are, and consequently never attach enough importance to them to satisfy their need for the power process in that way.”

Costa a lot more money to get a jersey made with your name on it unless you happen to share a name with a current or recently former player.

I don't see any problems with it really unless it's obvious that they are idolizing the players more than what would be considered healthy.

So how do you feel about the grow men painting their beer bellies with team colors?? Maybe strapping some kinda horns or war bonnet on their head. Stand in the crowd spilling beer and screaming like a banshee?? Dancing so can see them selves on jumbotron?
I just laugh at them but that's gotta about launch you? Huh?

I did almost punch out the Burger King. One and only packer game I ever went to kept standing behind my wife trying to creep her out.
That guy was a real dandy..

Overall I with wismiss on this one..
