Anyone shooting the Sierra Gamechanger Tipped Gameking bullets? I am particularly interested in 257 and 6.5 but would be glad to hear any experience.

I am perfectly happy with cup and core bullets. They are less expensive, very accurate, and deadly on whitetails.

Gun writers have an agenda. They need new material and sponsors.

Have used them for a bit now. Loading them in a 6.5 CM. They shoot great and are poison on deer. Never had any problems with them at all.Loading them a few grains off an max charge of RL 17. Also have shot some loaded ammo in .223, they will dump a coyote as well. Only good things to say about them.

It is my understanding that the Gamechanger line is a cup and core, just with an added tip. Hence the full name: Tipped Gameking. They are supposed to be built with a heavier construction than standard Gamekings. My hope is that they work as advertised and are as easy to find a load for as the standard Gamekings.

They cost, but Barnes ttsx have always performed well for me. I use them in .243, 7mm rem mag, and .30/06. I shoot anything and everything in 5.56/.223 (I get close and choose shots wisely with a small rifle)
