Almost have all my traps back.

The white feet are fairly common but the white tip on the tail is probably 1 in 250 roughly for the past 5 years. I Always like the white feet because they were so rare to see on my delta marten line. Fairly common to see white feet in wolverine and lynx at my camp but just a single marten with a white toe in all the years I've trapped the delta prior to trapping marten to the east.

Those twinkle toes like neat.

Quite the variety of critters around you. Marten and lynx. Wolverine and Wolf. The lynx are fairly close to town? Marten country further away?

Lynx come right onto town. I got 37 one year all within town limits. Marten are just around the outskirts as well but better county to the east towards treeline limit.

Got the second conibear smart wolverine yesterday. Snare did the trick again. Not much longer now until traps start getting pulled guys. Season has flown by

One year there was no lynx in the country. No rabbits. People used to use the shop for skinning. I used to dump the carcasses on that portage between the dump road and Pump Lake. Sewage truck started complaining about lynx running across the road. So just before 5 I would drive by and shoot them sitting on the carcasses trying to thaw them out. I got 8 lynx like that.

Great way to end the delta line yesterday evening.

And another great day pulling the marten line today.

Another to skin before bed time. Three wolverines skinned within 20 hours to end my season. Feeling grateful and accomplished and just a lil tired. Lots of skinning to do for the next month before serious warm weather starts up. Maybe some wolf tracking in the mountains coming up.

Ryan that is some clear leather on the wolverine , no wood tick bites or marks or bullet or shotgun pellet burns , that should make some great ruffs for the local crafters .

Bobby before winning the last tournament of the season. His team played great and won the final 7-5. He's got some battle scars from blocking shots all weekend. Got a game winning goal on Saturday to make the finals too.

Getting some time on the skinning knife lately too.
We just picked up his lynx #18 earlier today. We will Probably pick up his snares on Thursday and call it a season.
