Nope. I play recreational sports for fun and some exercise and am active in my life. At 49, I can still wear what I wore at 25.

I go to a local health club Monday - Friday. Take weekends off. I lift weights for about 20 minutes and do cardio on a machine for 25 minutes. Have been doing this for about 50 years. I always took off going to the health club during trapping season. That was an even tougher workout.

My wife wants me to wear a bracelet that belonged to her grandfather. It says, "Do Not Resuscitate".

I work out all the time at school every morning i do a 45 minuit workout that consists of everything I v]can crank out squats benching deadlift pull ups push ups curls... and many more at my house I have a pull up bar treadmeal and lots of dumbbells so when schools out I can work out I also when I dont have time for the home workout do daily work that involves stretching muscles . like lifting up a snowmobile getting a fourwheeler unstuck throwing landscaping brick in my pond hanging tree stands lifting up old solid wood garage doors and hauling appliances up and down stairs picking up my 185 pound bloodhound like a baby. pushing cars. my favorite workout though is when my fourwheelers battery is dead and pushing it in first gear and holding the starter to get it going.

I have my own Planet Fitness. Up at 4:30, load the wood furnace walk my lab, hand split wood for 15 minutes. Yesterday, checking traps by 7:00, hauling 4 beaver on my back from 2 swamps, cut/split 1/2 cord of firewood, stack and skin 2 beaver from day before catch. I was just getting loose, so I sharpened 2 chain saws and started dinner.

I've always thought that working out just to work out is foolish.
Due to the fact that there are always jobs that need to be done that are productive, like cutting firewood, making brush piles, fixing and making bird houses, maintenance work on the house and car etc etc etc.

I worked out in some fashion most of my life. Also was wsy moresctive thsn many people. Haven't done anything regular since I retired.
Here is the work out routine the gym teacher had us doing in grade school. Probably as good today as was back then for start of day.
I forgot that you March in place between moves. Lmao

Walk about 4-5 days per week, roughly 2.5 miles to 3 per time. Ride stationary bike 3 days per week while reading for 30 minutes per time. lift weights 2-3 times per week. 9 different exercises with ligh weights with 10 reps.
Also do some stretches, and crunches for some core work. Get most exercise working trap lines, canoeing, tapping and collecting sap, gardening etc.

I lift weights about 6 days a week and have been since I was about 18. I don't do a bunch of different exercises though. Bench, a couple different types of curls, deadlifts, and sometimes some extra tricep work and that's about it. After years of fairly heavy lifting, my joint pain finally caught up with me and I had to make some changes. I lightened the load a bit and increased the reps. Plus, I now use a multi grip/football bar instead of a straight bar for bench press and it helps with elbow, shoulder, and wrist pain.
