This is the largest crocodile that was ever photographed. The saltwater beast was an amazing 8.6 meters ( a whopping 28 footer!) shot in Australia by Krystyna and Ron Pawlowosky in 1955. The first photo is the beast winched onto the shore and the second photo is a replica of the dinosaur at the Australia zoo in southern Queensland.

At a zoo in Australia, there is a zip line you can ride over a crocodile pen. I passed.

I saw a croc from India the other night on a nature show. He was 20 ft long and massive size but had a long snout and they called them long snouted crocs or Gharial crocs. They reminded me of a gar fish. They are no danger to humans. They eat fish by catching them with the tip of the snout and flip them back a few inches at a time until they can swallow. Also to make them even more ridiculous looking they have a raised thing on the end of their nose that they blow thru or something to make a noise that maybe only they know what they are saying, lol.

You can easily tell crocodiles from alligators because you see crocodiles after a while and alligators later.
