Just curious, do y'all prefer it when a longer video has a bookmark/ time line index deal ? Started adding them to my videos... And seems I'm getting a lot more watch time. Guess it just makes things easier for people to find the part they want maybe ? Always just been of the opinion a guy could just scroll though real quick without one but and without needing, to watch the whole thing...but .... Still a lil annoying when I go thought the trouble of making one and somone asked the questions that was answered 5x in three different parts but hayyy hat can ya do laugh

Yes I do. That way I can skip ahead of I want and get to the parts that interest me without watching something too long

I like it better. If watching an accuracy test,i can skip ahead to reliability or targets without hearing a bunch of drivel.

I'm more apt to watch the entire video provided it has good, educational content. I don't know if it's my short attention span or what but 30 minutes is about the most time I can spend on a video.

ergo, bibamus.

It depends on the video. How to videos should definitely have them.

I've never used that function. I watch YouTube on Roku. Does that function work with Roku?

I don't watch a lot of YouTube, especially if they're long, 10 15 minutes max and I usually fast forward to get past the boring stuff...say what you want without any filler, but I guess some guys especially need to fill time in...

Part of the monetization requirements is watch time

Not really a function with mine just helps you better grab and drag the little dot for where you are in the video. I know on most smart TVs you can skip ahead in 30sec intervals

It makes it easier for people to skip which is not a good thing; really hurts your watch time.

50/50. If you.cant skip on channels that have annoyingly long intros, get ignored completely.
