I'm done 31#... from 204, practically at my married weight, lol Feel good, blood tests good. Not strict no carb but low carb, no rice, very low potatoes, and only if cooked and held overnight to develop resistant starch, mostly sweet potatoes, occasional pasta.I do have vegetables, and added a slice of homemade sourdough lately...mostly eat only 2 times a day, not even hungry most times.
found an occasional day long fast jump starts weight loss if you hit a standstill

Ive breached the 100 lb mark and leveled off. From 330 to 225 in about 8 months. Not many carbs but probably twice as many calories. Lots of meat and veggies. To lose any more weight I'd have to cut carbs. I'm happy at the weight I am now. Don't feel any better than I did (didn't lose weight because I felt bad)but look a lot different! I just figured it was time to slim down after a few decades

Good for you Turtle!
When I was diagnosed with type II diabetes I did intermittent fasting and went from 214 down to 185. That was about 7-8 years ago. I've crept up to 195 but feel pretty good at this weight. Never got back over 200.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Went from 175 to 146 now so I can’t lose much more weight I do some carbs but counter them with Allulose a few times a day. I just don’t overdo anything but I quit all sugar and artificial pops I drink Zevia soda with Stevia and coffee with Allulose/Stevia in it no raw sugar added to anything.
Thank God my cholesterol and sodium levels allow me some guilty pleasures but I don’t add salt to my foods. Daily meals of meat and eggs one slice of wheat toast for breakfast, a couple sugar free cookies (2) during the day a couple sugar free chocolate pieces and meat, fruit, steamed veggies and sweet potatoes for dinner.
No chips, sweets or sugared drinks.

I'm down to 174# from 196# and have stayed there for several months. I can breath better. My short term memory has improved. My blood pressure has gone down and has stayed down. I can wup 3 twenty years olds at the same time instead of just two at a time before this plan. I am having a more difficult time keeping women of all ages off of me. (I've always been cursed that way, its just worse now.) Hang in there, Carl. It's a blessing and a curse all at the same time and I'm sure it's tough, but you can do it.

Been low carb for about 3 years. I lost oboi80 pounds, mostly in the first year. It took a while but I don't miss the carb load at all any more. It becomes a way of life. The hardest is when you go to a restaurant it's hard to find something that fits your way of eating. Many places will substitute a steamed vegetable for a potato if you ask. The benefits are well worth it. Keep going! 26th of next month will be 3 years for me. Down 121 pounds with some more to go.

I'm eating mostly meat and Leafly green, very few carbs, and only eating for 6 hours a day, it's really a lifestyle change and really easy once you get into it after a while, Yes, I fast 18-19 hours a day, eat at noon and 5, important to take in a lot of salt and electrolytes with water
