What do you use?
I been using 3M Scotch-Brite™ Extra Heavy Duty Scouring Pads to hold my push pins and 'T' tail pins.

I use a piece of 1" thick styrofoam insulation. No stuck fingers for me.

Yep, same here. Got real tired of reaching into jars and getting poked.

Same for me, I just use a small piece of 2" foam and stick them in there, works good enough for the amount that I use.

When you have 100s of push pins It's just raiser to dump out what your going to use.

I like to just dump what I need into a magnetic dish from harbor freight.

I toss all into a plastic container. Just put a pencil magnet into it and about 10 at a time come out with all the points on the magnet.

I use a cottage cheese container, just stick your hand in there and pull out what you need, use your other hand to remove each individual pin from the first hand and put in the hide. Lol. Honestly though, I very seldom poke myself, I will use a couple hundred push pins in a day and maybe poke myself once or twice. It is easier and faster for me to pull the pins out of the stretcher and drop them in a container than stick each one in a board or pad. The magnetic parts dish is a really good idea though that I'll have to try.

I just keep them in a mason jar and dump out about twenty at a time in the lid. Yep I poke myself now and again but my hands are pretty thick with callous
