I wore coveralls all my life until recently. Coveralls are too darn tight on the shoulders and heavy. I now wear nylon bibbies from NiteLite that are lightweight and comfortable. Heavy boots suck but I haven't found a lightweight boot that is warm. Kangaroo leather boots are the lightest I've found yet but still heavy.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I always wore bibs. They fit better and you can add and subtract layers throughout the day much easier with that set up.

I will probably be with suspenders one day. I don't a have a butt or a waist that a belt helps much.

I never seen Drifter in anything but Carhart bibs...
I started wearing bibs pretty regular after got my guts cut outsome years bsck. Way more comfortable on my scars. I dont like them though in warmer weather not sure how them southern guys do that. Just last week when warmed I got my jeans t-shirt back on. Got to warm in the red bibs.
I can't wear a belt so well anymore across my front. So I have this funky belt that basically just goes around my back. Also use the suspenders that are called Hikers Hidden.
Got make a system that's comfortable and works for you.

See if you can get your Dr to prescribe Noassatall. It should help with the belt.

It depends if I’m outside just doing general work things I’ll throw the bibs on. Now if I’m planning on laying down a lot and working on my back and stuff I’ll throw the coveralls on.

I usually wear jeans but will wear insulated bibs, I now own two pairs of round house bibs after the doc cut out a growth at my belt line.

Same X2.......Carhart and Key......."the aristocrat of overalls". And a Carhart coat over the bigs. Winter survival gear.

I keep thinking there ought to be a way to hide a pocket somewhere in a pair of bibs in which a guy could slip in a pistol. Let the shoulder straps carry the weight.

Key bibs for me. More comfortable and they don't fall down.
