Caught a copperhead couple weeks back in a snap rat trap.up against the wall. Was after a pack rat.

Caught this corn snake making its way in mud room last week when it was 25° out. Just reached down and picked it up. Miss Aalaiya wanted to keep it as a pet. We put it out in the barn [Linked Image]

My Grandfather use to have a semi pet bull snake that lived under the chicken coop for mice…
He would drip water so the snake could have a drink…

Rat and Snake Glue boards [Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Take the Snakes to where you want them released and spray them with cooking oil spray
it melts the glue and they crawl away.

Coolest part was the snake was crossing the road when he was driving home in a tractor from the homestead farm…

Sounds like a glue board in the ductwork is your solution.

Make the trap with a cover , i used plastic gutter.taped to the bottom corrugated plastic and taped The snake/rat glue boards- so it's a hinged tunnel.

You might want to tie it off if you are sticking it in the ductwork….
