We used to drink that doing road rescue in Omaha during blizzard and extreme cold snaps…
Two trucks,,, jumper cables ,and some snatch straps,,,,,fun times,,, ,,,,,started doing it in high school
Local gas stations gave me and a friend all their calls
. Sure made the day go by fast,,,, plus we got to play with starting fluid……

When I was 16yo and working my first job , I didn't own a car yet. Got one very shortly after a few paychecks.

I relied on some of my slightly older co-workers to catch a ride to the deli to get something for lunch.


One day , heading out to catch a ride with the usual bunch , they were waiting for me. They had a nip bottle of Yukon Jack 100proof.
I had to drink it (chug it) and not barf or I would not get a ride to the deli. Somewhat of a challenge for a 16yo.

Drank it down. Struggled a minor bit , but was OK.


They were SO ticked off they wasted a nip bottle on me.......lol

Ended up getting respect from them later.

It’s not supposed to taste good, it’s supposed to burn!!
