Trapped Oct, Nov, and set nest raiders back to where Dec was a bust for me. Was not able to trap the rut in Jan, and Feb and now seeing the raiders on cameras again. Have till April 14 to run some traps. Never trapped this time of year. Im in northern MO 50/50 tillable and woods. Not sure what is in there diet in spring. Thinking sets around ponds and in creeks maybe looking for frogs. Holes in old barns and check out den trees. What would you guys suggest?

Ponds and creeks are probably your best bets.

I'd be scouting hard. Where are the coons at? Water makes sense as a food source. They are still denning somewhere.

There’s a retired CO on the Canadian site, Loneranger. He got a few contracts with Delta Waterfowl to trap the raiders in a few blocks of land they got and he starts about now. He really piles em up, might be able to give you some advice.

Trap where you have them on camera. If you can bait use bait piles corn/fish and the creek bottoms .

I caught 3 last week in my beaver traps. Plus I'm getting them on camera every night. My suggestion would be near the waters edge.
