I will warn you that all the Savells that appear in the earliest US records I found settled first in Massachusetts, before their descendants moved South. You very likely have very deep Yankee roots from before 1700. You have a lot of Houstons and Campbells in your pedigree, like I do. Family Search has a huge number of documents on your family, that if you go through them, will likely let you go much further back in your ancestry. Keith
