Took my new camera along to do some adc beaver trapping, so im trying out the pics here.

The first dam-no changes since it got dug out last fall.

Took my 6th beaver yesterday, from this set since i started trapping this place 1 11/2 years ago. It started out as a basic climb out with a castor mound, every beaver digs it out a little and I just keep reusing it.

The second dam, with fresh activity. I poked a couple holes in the dam guarded by a couple #5 bridgers, with no attempts to plug them up last night, so i think it was just the one beaver here, but I'll leave traps out a couple more nights to be sure.

They sure are a handy tool! I had a beauty with the can set almost at water level and a beaver splashing in a 330 right at sunset. I hope it’s on the card still. Cell cams are awesome for ADC.

Oh, I think you’re talking about an actual camera, not a trail cam…lol
