This is a really nice patch we found today.

This is an average sized patch foenis.

I have a market for leaves so im gonna be cutting some of them Tuesday.

Our son dug and sold the whole plant to a mushroom farmer who took them to NY City and sold them to Russian Jews. We put them in milk crates and kept them fresh in the running water between our ponds. Those pictures take me back .

Cathryn and Jerry take one back to an age when many (maybe most) trappers pursued not just trapping, but various other money making wildcrafting gigs to put food on the table. Always enjoy reading about their exploits.

We have a possibility of snow too. It's supposed to be a high of 40 Tuesday.

Jerrys dug them In the snow and they snapped out of it. They were wilty when dug but sprand back qhen thy warned up

I got some garlic up and tulips. No sign of ramps yet. Don't really expect them until end of April first May.
