The vertical load strength of a 2x4 is 1,000/lbs and 300 /lbs. on edge- if the bottom of the stand is 4' from the tree, the gussets you have will redistribute the load. I would add another (shorter) gusset set from base to ladder to reduce your fulcrum point. Looks solid

I had a few of those extension ladders done up the same as yours. I pickup out a few of the ladders through years and they work very well.

Stand is Tall and comfortable

The location held deer Early season but by Rifle season they're movements had changed.
