Doe sometimes have antlers , it happens in about every species that they have some that are different or off

do you have any roosters , is she imitating or did she do it all on her own ?
if you have roosters do they still try and fertilize her ? or did they back off when she started crowing ?

does she still lay eggs ?

We had a Light Brahma hen, that definitely used to lay eggs, develop hackles, sickles, bigger wattles and bigger comb, like a rooster. It fell over dead crowing. I would guess it has some sort of tumor that effected its hormones.

Last year we were given 4 rhode island red hens, and my youngest daughter was convinced that they were boys, because the guy that gave them to us said that they were "hims".

Heck I thought you guys were going to talk about transmissions. Mine went on my GMC Yukon but the parts to fix it are on back order. 3 weeks to 3 months they said.

with no roosters maybe one of the hens decides it needs to play rooster , because in chicken mind roosters protect the flock , just thinking out loud

I would consider quarantine her to see if she lays yet

also curios on age

I have no real advice not seen it my self , my birds never live past 10 weeks , I am just very curios about the circumstances and would try experiments to see what I could learn form it , it is a sample size of one but still interesting.

I have seen game hens crow and grow long sharp spurs just like a rooster. There was an old saying that a crowing hen comes to no good end
