That has always worked for me. Sit, relax and hold your breath as long as you can, repeatedly until they stop. Lower your pulse rate and respirations. If that doesn't work, try gargling beer and video it.






I have no idea if the beer thing will work, I am just curious if you can drown in 6 ounces of beer.

I personally believe that hiccups are due to indigestion. It's your stomach telling you that whatever you ate isn't agreeing with you/or is hard to digest. Pinpoint what's giving you hiccups and avoid that food. Pepto Bismol used to knock mine out. Once I got my diet down I don't have them.

Go get a spoonful of peanut butter from the jar. Before you finish licking the spoon clean your hiccups will be gone!

I disagree. I tried that once with farts and nearly exploded.
